A critical step in healing is recognizing you are worth it and that it can be hard to reach out and advocate for yourself. I use a trauma informed approach in counselling, while also implementing person centred, narrative, bilateral stimulation strategies, and emotionally focused techniques to treat a variety of concerns. I am EMDR certified (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), which can be used to treat historical trauma, memory processing, or moving through a recent stressful or traumatic life event. I value your relational safety, and strive to make every effort to ensure I demonstrate congruency with your lived experiences, perceptions, and internal resources. I strongly believe that psychological and emotional healing is possible when you have access to mental health care that feels good for you. 


I will work with you to create stabilization and safety, and meet you where you are emotionally. Short and long term goals can be created from a place of internal value and understanding your role in changing life patterns that no longer work for you.
